Exploration of the surroundings of Lake Myvatn, with two nice walks, and we ended the day in the lake (in a hot pool).

Iceland - day 3

Drive from Olafvik in the West to Akureyri, the secong biggest city in Iceland located in the Northern part of the island.

It looks like horses outnumber Icelanders, and unlike sheep (who also are said to be numerous), horses stay outside in the winter.

Arrived at dawn from Minneapolis. We are driving North towards the Snaefellsnes Peninsula with at few stops on the way.
