Leaving Phnom Penh

The 2 weeks of training are over- 163 people in total attended the various workshops/presentation in 3 different cities. I am heading towards Shanghai, via Singapore and Hong Kong (ok... not the most direct route!) for more training in Shanghai on Monday and Tuesday!!

The training is taking place at the Jesuit centre called Meta Karuna (Pali or Sanskit words for Mercy and Loving Kindness). I am staying there too, as well as Wadt (co-facilitator), her husband and baby.

Sisophon

70 minutes drive from Siem Reap to Sisophon, in a comfortable car on a smooth road. We are far from the 3 hours it took us in 2006, on a dirt road with potholes and broken bridges. There are more houses on the sides of the road. Ultimate luxury, the hotel in Sisophon has wifi...

rice paddy fields and nets to catch crickets (Khmer delicacy but not tested yet...)

in Siem Reap

Quiet day today- I am back to the free wifi Hotel de la Paix catching up with late work. Chanry and I are heading to Sisophon at the end of the afternoon.
