Pingyao - Day 1

Pingyao- UNESCO heritage site- is a remarkably intact ancient city. At the crossroads of South and North China, its prosperity came from its traders and bankers (one of the very first private banks in China was established there). People still live there too which makes Pingyao much more than a living museum.
