Third day of our trip: we drive to Hengshan Mountain- by a back road across the Loess Plateau (big traffic jam on the main road). The main attraction is the (crowded but amazing) Hengshan Suspended Temples. One room has three statues: Sakyamuni, Confucius and Lao-ze, very rare mix of the 3 main Chinese religions in one place - even though Chinese worshippers seem to go from one religion to another without religious issues.
