Ecuador - Day 1 (Quito-Napo Park)

We ended 2016 with two weeks exploring Ecuador.

Taking off from Quito towards the East and the Amazonian Forest

Then motor-boat down the Napo River

Along the river we could spot several oil drilling stations:  a hard choice for local communities: immediate income with oil vs. longer term forest preservation

Finally we arrive at Napo Wildlife Center Ecolodge.
